The Trick to Adding A Wordpress Blog to Your Xsitepro Website

Learn how to seamlessly integrate a wordpress blog into your xsitepro website!

There's a trick to adding a wordpress blog to your xsitepro website and most people don't know about it....here's some questions from an xsitepro user looking to add a blog to his site.

I'm a bit confused. I was searching the forum and found some info. on adding wordpress to xsite. I was able to install wordpress via Fantastico through my hosting company, but not sure what to do next. Please help. Thanks.

You cannot import one into the other. You need to create a custom WordPress theme based on your XSitePro site to integrate them.

You have to look at your situation like this....you basically have two seperate websites....

  1. The Xsitepro Website
  2. Your Wordpress Blog

At this point all you can really do is link one to the other. So you would have a link in one of your navigation coloums, footer, breadcrumb, any page or just someplace on your xsitepro website that links to your blog.

The problem is that when they leave your xsitepro website and go to your blog....it becomes obvious to the visitor that they are moving from one platform to the other. In other words, they are either on your blog and going to your xsitepro program or from your Xsitepro to your Blog.

It could work this way...and granted, most people only know how to do it this way.

However, there is a system that teaches you how to seamlessly integrate your xsitepro website to your wordpress blog. In essence, your blog will look exactly like your xsitepro website, it's impossible for the visitor to tell when the website ends and the blog starts! I've had a chance to check this out and it's called XsiteprotoWordpress and the creator's have gone to all lengths to make it understandable. I highly recommend it! Support is excellent and the course is in pdf and video.

Good luck to you....once you get your site and blog up, why don't you post it in the forum....would like to check it out :)

Good luck,

Scott
